Communication and Expected Use Of The Platform

24/7 Support & Communication Channels

VeeShift is committed to supporting providers around the clock. Our 24/7 support team is available through the in-app chat and by email at help@veeshift.com for any questions or issues, including shift disputes, technical glitches, payment concerns, or emergency situations.

To stay informed on:

  • Urgent open shifts
  • Platform updates
  • New facility policies
  • Incentive and reward programs

Please regularly check your VeeShift app notifications and email inbox. These are the primary channels for all essential communication and policy announcements.

Non-Discrimination Policy

VeeShift has a zero-tolerance policy for any form of discrimination or harassment. All providers are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional conduct while working through the platform. Discrimination or harassment based on the following is strictly prohibited:

  • Race or ethnicity
  • Gender or gender identity
  • Religion or spiritual belief
  • National origin
  • Disability or medical condition
  • Sexual orientation
  • Marital status or age
  • Any other characteristic protected by law

Providers must:

  • Treat patients, facility staff, residents, and fellow providers with dignity and respect at all times.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and language in all interactions.
  • Report any incidents of discrimination or harassment immediately via the in-app chat or email.

Violations may result in permanent deactivation from the platform and potential legal consequences depending on the nature of the incident.

Independent Contractor Status

All providers using the VeeShift platform serve as independent contractors, not employees of VeeShift or the facilities where they work. As such, providers are responsible for:

  • Managing and filing their own taxes
  • Carrying any liability or malpractice insurance required by law or professional best practices
  • Maintaining current and valid licenses, certifications, and credentials
  • Ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations

VeeShift does not withhold taxes, provide employment benefits, or guarantee a set number of hours or income. It is your responsibility to track your work, income, and maintain full legal compliance.

Policy Updates & Platform Use

VeeShift’s policies are reviewed and updated regularly to reflect industry changes, user feedback, and regulatory requirements. The company reserves the right to modify, revise, or update any policies, terms of use, or operational procedures at its sole discretion.

  • Continued use of the VeeShift platform after policy changes go into effect will be considered your acceptance of those changes.
  • Providers will be notified of major updates via app notifications and email announcements.
  • It is your responsibility to stay informed and up to date on current policies by checking the VeeShift Knowledge Base regularly or contacting support with any questions.
