Account Freeze Guide

🧊 Account Freeze Guide — Understanding Why You’re on Hold

At VeeShift, we value reliability, professionalism, and fairness across all independent contractors and partner facilities. To maintain this standard, certain actions may result in a temporary account hold (freeze). This guide explains why your account may be on hold, what it means, and how to regain access.

🔍 Why You’re on Freeze

Your VeeShift account has been temporarily placed on hold due to a late cancellation or a no-call / no-show (NCNS) on a previously accepted shift. These measures help ensure accountability and fairness for all providers and facilities using the VeeShift platform.

🚫 What “Freeze” Means

While your account is on freeze:

  • You cannot pick up any new shifts.
  • You must complete all existing scheduled shifts before reactivation.
  • Once all accepted shifts are completed successfully, your account automatically moves into review for reactivation.

✅ How to Get Out of Freeze

To restore your account access:

  1. Complete all active or accepted shifts without cancellation or attendance issues.
  2. Submit all timesheets accurately and on time.
  3. Wait for your profile review, usually within 48–72 hours after your final completed shift.

Once approved, you’ll receive both an SMS and email notification confirming that your account is active again and eligible to claim new shifts.

⚠️ Late Cancellation Policy

A Late Cancellation occurs when a provider cancels a confirmed shift within 24 hours of the scheduled start time.

🚨 No-Call / No-Show (NCNS) Policy

A No-Call / No-Show (NCNS) occurs when a provider fails to show up for a confirmed shift without any prior notice to the facility or VeeShift.

💡 Helpful Tips to Avoid Freeze

  • Cancel at least 24 hours in advance if you can’t attend a shift.
  • Keep your ETA and status updated in the app.
  • Communicate directly with the facility if delays or emergencies occur — transparency helps prevent penalties.
  • Maintain reliability to boost your Insta-Match score, increase access to premium shifts, and improve your ratings.

🔁 Reinstatement Reminder

Once your freeze period ends and all conditions are met:

  • You’ll receive an automatic Reactivation Notification.
  • Your shift access and Insta-Match eligibility will be restored immediately.
