Clock in & clock out

Clock in & clock out

Clock in when you get there. Clock out only after the signature, the charting question, the rating, and the break are done. The last tap is what sends the shift to be paid. A sloppy clock out is why pay sits.

Clock in

On the shift, tap Clock In. The app may ask you to confirm and accept the facility's requirements again, even if you accepted them when you requested the shift. Accept them. That is part of clocking in, not a glitch.

When it goes through you will see You have successfully clocked in. The timer starts. You will see Clock Out, the time you have been on the clock, and how long until the shift ends. That timer is the record of the shift. Tap Clock In when you are at the facility.

Get a signature before you leave

Tap Clock Out. The app asks for a signature, a name, and a title. The title is who signed:

  • Authorized Facility Contact
  • Facility Scheduler
  • Myself - no one was available to sign

Use Myself only when nobody is there. That choice is a manual review. It can slow your pay, because a person has to look at a shift nobody at the facility signed. Find someone before you pick it.

Charting

Answer Did you complete your charting? This is the question that decides whether the shift is finished.

If charting is not done, the facility can flag it. You then have 24 hours to fix it. After that, the account goes on hold. "I will chart it tomorrow" is the path to a hold, not a favor the facility is holding for you.

Rate the facility and answer the break

Rate the facility before you finish. The feedback is multi-select, and you can add a comment. Then confirm the break. This part changes the hours.

  • No Break Verification needs a reason. If you do not submit one, the break is applied anyway.
  • If you select Worked Break, fill in the worked-break reason. Without that reason the shift goes to manual review and payment can be delayed.

Then tap Clock Out and finish. The shift should land in Completed, where you can watch the review status.
