A quick guide for facilities. When a completed shift is waiting in Manual Review, approve it from the facility app. The whole approval takes about 22 seconds.
Why a shift needs your review
A shift goes to Manual Review when:
- The provider requested a work break
- Clock-in or clock-out info was edited
- The provider was sent home
- Charting needs review
- No one was available to sign them out
- The shift was too short or too long
When a shift needs review, you will see an alert on the home screen. Open the facility app and review it promptly so payment is not delayed.
Approve the shift

- Open the shift: Tap the shift to open it.
- Open the decision: Scroll down to Shift Approval and tap Approval Decision – Manual.
- Choose one option:
- Approve Shift – Apply Break. The shift is approved and the break is deducted, whether or not a worked break was requested.
- Approve Shift & Approve Worked Break. The provider is paid the full hours, including the break.
- Fraud: Start a Dispute. Something does not look right. Do not approve. Start a dispute instead.
