How to Post Shifts on the Calendar

Posting a Single Shift

  1. Click on New Shift to post a new open shift.

  2. In the modal, click on Enter Scheduled Time.

  3. Select a shift start date from the calendar.

  4. Enter a start time.

  5. Add an end time.

  6. Choose a role from the list of roles.

  7. Once done, click on the Save button.

And you are all set!

Posting Multiple Shifts

  1. On the calendar, select the shift you want to duplicate.

  2. In the modal, click the Duplicate icon to the left.

  3. A calendar will pop up. Select the dates you would like to post the same shift for.

  4. Click the plus icon on each date and select how many shifts you need for that day.

  5. When done, click out of the calendar pop-up.

  6. Click the Save button to save your changes.

All shifts will load onto the calendar as open shifts for providers to pick up.

How to Schedule and Manage Block Booked Shifts

In this guide, we will walk through the process of scheduling and managing block-booked shifts.

Steps to Schedule a Block Booked Shift

  1. Access New Shift: Click on "New Shift" in the navigation bar.

  2. Enter Scheduled Shift Time: In the modal, enter the scheduled shift time in the "Scheduled Time" field.

  3. Select Start and End Time: Choose a start time and add an end time.

  4. Choose a Role: Click to choose a role and select a role from the drop-down menu.

  5. Repeat Shift: On the left, click the "Repeat Shift" icon.

  6. Set Recurring Shift: In the recurring shift modal, select the days of the week to repeat the shift.

  7. Define Occurrences: Select the field next to "After Occurrences" and enter the number of shifts you want to fill for this block book or until the date you select it to end. Note: This is for shifts with the same start and end times.

  8. Create Shift Group: Check the box for "Create Shift Group" and check the box "Enforce Same Assignee."

  9. Save the Shift: Once done, click the "Save" button in the top right corner of the page.

A success notification will appear at the bottom of the pop-up. Here you will see all shifts posted, and for providers on their mobile app, it will appear for them to claim it all at once.

How to Create and Post a Shift Template in the Schedule

Creating a Shift Template

  1. In the navigation bar, click on Schedule for a better calendar view.

  2. In the schedule view, hover over a shift and click the plus icon on any shift.

  3. From the drop-down menu, select Save as Template.

  4. In the modal, enter a name for the template.

  5. Click the Save button in the modal to confirm your selections.

Once you have completed these steps, the template has been created.

Posting a Shift via Templates

  1. Hover over an empty slot on the calendar and select the Template button on the schedule to open shift templates.

  2. All previously saved shift templates will pop up.

  3. Choose the template you desire.

You can also hover over any shift you'd like to use as a template. Follow these steps:

  1. Click on the plus sign.

  2. Then select "Add from Template".

  3. In the shift templates modal, select the shift you desire.

And just like that, the shift will be posted. This process is super easy and a great way to use our platform.
